For this piece, our lovely Tush team took out time to put you on some of our current favorites for the month. These are the films (and Tv series) that we’re watching here at Tush Magazine.
Anslem – Narcos
“I enjoyed Narcos because it was a detailed movie about the life and death of Pablo Escobar. From his crimes and rise of the Medellin cartel to damages he caused in Columbia and in US. The interesting part was how long and how much it costed the US government to catch him. I also picked up some Spanish words 😁. I am currently watching another one – Pablo Escobar El Patron Del Mal” – Anslem, EIC
Ibukun – Breaded Life
“I watched the movie with my mom and we both enjoyed it. I love the movie because it’s a movie you can see with your whole family. Although there were some kissing scenes but they tried to keep it PG. Biodun Stephen is a master at storytelling. She has an amazing way of teaching life lessons through a beautiful storyline, great acting, amazing production and picture quality. Breaded life is a movie I would watch over and over again and would gladly recommend to anybody.” Ibukun, Lifestyle Writer
Eniola – Love and Thunder
“I went to the cinema two times, yes two times to watch this movie. That’s how much I enjoyed it. The movie Thor is not that regular superheroes fighting and all the other things they do. this one had many elements of humor even the children characters would make you laugh. My highlights were Natalie Portman, Taiki Waititi, Tessa Thompson, and Christian Bale. Also, if you are not under the spell of Chris Hemsworth accent I want to know what jazz you use.
Yeah it’s a great watch and I’m just trying to patiently wait for the remaining MCU movies coming out later this year.” – Eniola, Social Media Manager
Kika – Introducing The Kujus
“A truly beautiful movie with a strong emotional plot. I particularly enjoy family films and this is one that I know has potential to becoming a feel-good, societal expose, family-friendly film franchise” – Kika, Film Writer.
