Christopher John Sy (Born April 11, 1988), better known as JsyMusic, (JSY or j$y, ), is an eclectic Filipino-Canadian musician. A skilled guitarist and an accomplished singer/songwriter, He was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he constantly grows his fanbase through engaging videos on Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo. His style is a unique blend of R&B and Hip-Hop, where soulful melodies blend in with exciting rhythms and edgy lyrics.

With many years active as an artist, JSY recounts many career highlights, including collaborating with a wide variety of artists, reaching out to audiences online and through media such as radio, as well as performing alongside established artists such as Grammy Winning R&B Group 112, Dru Hill and many more.
JSY joined Clockwork Music Group (CMG) in 2013, but still continued to write, record, and produce his solo tracks. He has performed with American artistes including Gabe Bondoc, and has opened for the concerts of Passion and Philippine recording artist Bamboo. He has also collaborated with local artists including Young Kidd, Rukus45, Finalie, Termanill, and Skitzo. He frequently performs for local charity events and fundraisers.

Make Her Say” and “Best for Last” were collaborations with Trillz (CMG) and Gboro (CMG) which were followed by official music videos for both songs, directed by ChazB (CMG). JSY’s music has been featured on local radio stations including 104.7 with the song “Fame”.

In 2014 he released an all acoustic album “All For You” as well as an R&B mixtape “#jussaiyanbaby” in the same month showing versatility in styles establishing himself as an artist.

Following a short hiatus from the music industry, JSY is back with one of his strongest releases to date, “Love Drug” where he was verified on Spotify. Which included the song “All I Need” produced by JorilBeatz and filmed by D-Prydes brother Gabriel of Samureye Films in Toronto which was released in 2018.

JSY continues to demonstrate his skills in style change by collaborating with Philippine star Jireh Lim for the song “Ako Nalang” where he shows his Filipino roots by writing an all Tagalog song. They are planning on shooting a music video which will be released later in 2018.

With his modern production values, spotless lyrical flow and seamless arrangements, JSY has bridged a cap making his 90’s Hiphop/R&B style sound modern. JSY echoes the work of contemporary icons such as Tory Lanez, The Weeknd or Bruno Mars.
