Podcasts can be considered to be your very own offline radio, minus the ads and the music. So it’s basically just people conversing right in your eardrums. In Nigeria, podcasts have been on the rise as new storytelling mediums for creatives out there. There are hundreds of podcasts hosted by Nigerians in and out of Nigeria that bring out some of the hilarious and impressive talents Nigerians harbour. With that being said, here are three podcasts you can get yourself acquainted with in this month of August.

I SAID WHAT I SAID – HOSTED by FK & JOLA

FK and Jola can be considered as the queens of podcasting in nigeria as their podcast, I said What I Said, is a chart topping award winning podcast. These two ladies talk almost about everything and anything, from politics to relationships to agony aunts to the most bizzare Q&A’s from their fans.

SUBMARINE AND A ROACHHOSTED by TMT, KOJ & MAYOWA

I imagine this podcast to be what guys actually talk about whenever they get together. This podcast is literally just these three guys talking about all sorts within a single conversation. These conversations don’t exactly have any direction but that’s the fun of it, you kind of just insert yourself in some sort of hilarious guy talk. If you have a peak sense of humour, I assure this is the podcast for you. There are about 69 episodes so far so you can binge all through august!

THIS CLOSE – HOSTED BY TEMISAN & CHISOM

This Close is the newest podcast on the block right now and it’s hosted by Teymesan and Chisom. The podcast is also discussion style and focuses on topics ranging from relationships to personal branding. I’m excited to see what this podcast has in store in years to come, but for now, you all should listen to the hilarious six episodes available.

So don’t say I never did anything for you this month, be sure to listen to these three podcasts this most for premium content.
