It was probably the biggest week of releases this year in music and the numbers ratified for the bigheads in the industry. It was probably the biggest for playlist curators and we were not left out. These are the songs we think you should listen to this week:

Wetin man go do – Burna Boy

Off his album ‘Africa Giant’, Burna Boy serenades the perfect delivery to an Afrobeats record in his most captive vocals using indigenous slangs and non-verbal tones at its peak.

21 – H.E.R

Drowsy and dropping vocals fill this record with the slowest possible rhythm as the petite singer shoots heartfelt arrows.

Different – Burna Boy featuring Damian Marley

This is the most elaborate reggae tune you’ll hear this week as Burna boy recruits Damian Marley to grace the record. Burna Boy drops his patois rhythm to create a flavor.

Blow my mind – Davido featuring Chris Brown

Contrary to what the internet thinks, Davido and Chris Brown had a roll. Though, the pop elements were traded in favour of Christopher’s vocals, it’s still a bop that should not be missed.

Dis love – DJ Spinall featuring Wizkid and Tiwa Savage

Wizkid and Tiwa Savage had a wonderful time on the song as they made a banger. Absolutely a hit!

Single again – Big Sean

Big Sean has had terrible moments in relationships and he is open about them on this beautiful song.

Big mood – Drake and Future

Drake and Future are confident whenever they link up to make music and this trap-inspired tune is an evidence of their craftsmanship.

Ogologoma – DJ Big N featuring Rema

Rema’s new sound has been accepted and Mavin DJ Big N has decided to let him jump on the rich production that showcases urban Afropop elements.

Live fast – Alan Walker and A$ap Rocky

Both men are focused as they laid aside their genres differences in harmony in making a great melody.

Madden 20 – Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg traces his hardcore rap roots in déjà vu. The result is a rap-flavored record.
