Three Simple Goals Every Entrepreneur Should Have

Starting and running a successful business requires commitment to set goals, goals are specific things we set out to achieve. An entrepreneur always works to achieve success, overcome failures and beat the challenges of running business. In setting goals, we must learn to set SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound) goals. Achieving goals demands hard work and strategies, success happens when we push ourselves towards achieving it. Achieving these goals sometimes requires falling and rising, an entrepreneur must not give in to failures as rightly said in the words of Richard Branson, an entrepreneur and founder of Virgin Atlantic “if you are hurt, lick your wounds and get up again. If you have given it your absolute best, it’s time to move to move forward.”

Three goals that entrepreneur should set are:

Establishing a successful business: Having and running successful business is what make a great entrepreneur, when business goals are being designed, what should come first is the establishment of a thriving business. This goal can ignite motivation, drive and creativity that will be duly channeled towards success.

All time customer satisfaction: Customers are the blood of every business; businesses that neglect their customers are bound to go moribund sooner or later. The secret of most successful business lies in how they attract and retain their customers. An entrepreneur whose major interest and goal lie in satisfying his customers will find business easier compared to one who neglects his customers. Efforts are being channeled by businesses to render the best of services to their customers and potential customers globally in order to increase their competitiveness and market share.

Attaining the business’s vision: Every business is set up with a mission and a vision, while the mission defines what the business sets out to do and how it does it, the vision reveals it future and where it intends to stand in the nearest time to come. An entrepreneur should strive to meet the vision of its business in due time.
