In recent times, Nigeria has witnessed the influx of new record labels either newly established or a break out from a previously existing one. It is quite interesting to know that not many of these record labels are successful – literally. A quick glance at the list would go to show that the distinctive different between the successful ones and the struggling ones is based on structure and hardwork; sadly not many record labels own such.
Amongst the successful ones is: ARISTORKAT RECORDS – a label capable of selling ice commercially even in winter. Founded in 2010, Aristokrat Records is a record label focused primarily on contemporary African music, operating as a part of The 960 Music Group, Nigeria’s premier diversified music and entertainment group. The Company is involved in the business of producing, recording music, marketing music recorded by musicians, branding of artiste, and public relations.
