Nigerian singers Celebrate Sade Adu at 60 with a Music Concert

Today marks the 60th birthday of Nigerian British singer and songwriter, Sade Adu. Born Helen Folasade Adu in Ibadan, Nigeria, Sade was the daughter of an African father, Adebisi Adu and English mother, Anne Hayes.

Thirty-six years ago, the Nigerian-British singer and her band established the foundation that would shape the future of R&B/Soul as we know it with the release of their debut album Diamond Life. And since then, Sade’s work has influenced and been recognized by many singers, hip hop artists, the media and music lovers in general.

In honor of this living legend, and in celebration of her 60th birthday, leading Talent Management & PR coy Elite Resources Media in collaboration with Polkadot (organizers of Soul Conversations) are organizing a free event tagged Elite Night: Soul Conversations – A Sade @ 60 Tribute which promises to showcase amazing singers who would serenade guests to their favorite Sade Adu music.

The Soul Conversations edition of Elite Night which is going to be an experience, has been designed to celebrate the singer, Sade Adu at 60 years of age; bringing together lovers of Sade Adu and her music to experience her music from local musicians and instrumentalists namely; Maka, Onanome, Cilla, Tomi Owo, Kwitee, Rho amongst others.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 17th 2018 at the The Backyard Bar & Grill, Victoria Island, Lagos. Red carpet begins at 6:00pm and and the Event starts at 7:00pm.
