Chronicles Of A Nympho [Ep8]

Chronicles of a Nympho

Continued from Chronicles Of A Nympho Episode 7

I turn around to look at my ass in the mirror, is it just my imagination or it is indeed getting thicker? I smile to myself as I have to wiggle to get into my tailored River Island skirt, the skirt fits like a glove. The tube hugs my well shaped apple behind and gives my arch more definition.

I grin in satisfaction.

Nini: Are you really planning on wearing that lime green skirt to his office today? Do you know how distracting you look?

She giggles.

I smile mischievously.

Me: I don’t know what you mean.

I fake innocence.

We both laugh.

Nini: What will you do if Rex comes?

I shrug as I place a thin camisole against the skirt to see if the colors go, they don’t, I fling it to the bed just as Nini hands me one that goes perfectly with it.

Me: Him walking out on me is his problem not mine. I don’t have the strength to over think anything or wait around crying for any man. If he wants this he knows where to find me. Simple

She scoffs.

Nini: You are always playing the tough woman, even when it is not necessary.

She walks out of the room, as I tuck in the plain white camisole into my tube skirt I think about Rex, he still hasn’t called me or sent a text even. He made it clear he wants nothing to do with me so I will leave him, I don’t have the strength to pursue anyone right now. Maybe I am playing with fire with Adebantu, but I’m intrigued and excited, so Hey, why not?

Nini walks back I into the room as she hands me a pair of yellow and black Sophia Webster sandals. I look at her with shock evident in my eyes and excitement too.

Me: No wayyyy!

She laughs.

Nini: I ordered 2 pairs, but yours hasn’t been delivered yet, seeing you in this skirt, I think you should borrow mine. You’ll look absolutely gorgeous in them.

I wrap her in an extremely tight hug and kiss her on her face, we both giggle.

Me: You are the best friend in the whole wide world, you know that right?

She pretends to wipe a mock tear from her face.

Nini: Am I really?

We both laugh as I sit to hurriedly wear my sandals. I strap them on and take a twirl.

Me: OMG NINI!!

Nini: You look amazing Yesmin, you look so good. Any man, any breathing man will be lucky to have you.

Me: Aww Ni, you don’t know how amazing you are. Or how people see you, you’re made of gold, I am just gold plated. I need to learn to be more like you.

She shakes her head.

Nini: I don’t think so, I think you’re perfectly you.

An hour later, I am looking for a parking space in the Richards Tower, my mind flashes to the mail I got from his staff inviting me to the private screening of his new merchandise, now he is going into the fashion industry albeit just the sports angle. I have no interest in sports whatsoever, but this will be great for the Magazine and its interesting news, I am getting the inside scope. I smile to myself as I relish in pure joy at the face my editor would have when I eventually mail him this story.

I bring out my phone to call my photographer, he is here already as I locate him… we enter the building together.

Immediately, the smell of heavenly hor dourves assault my senses, I want to quickly go to a nearby table and pick at the food, but I think better of it. I make my way to the entrance to what looks like a ball room from the frontal view. Instantly I feel the familiar set of eyes on me and I straighten my shoulders, chest out and walk with more grace than its needed.

“Wherever you go Yesmin, you’ll always draw a crowd, you will always be the center of attention. The effect you have on people is something else; make sure you use it wisely.”  Miss Agnes would say.

As I approach the chaperon for the night, I plaster a bright smile on my face. He smiles back, the smile reaching his eyes and his whole dentition broadens.

Me: Good afternoon, my name is Yesmin Briggs.

He is looking at me like I am a banana and he a monkey.

Chaperon: I am David.

Errrrr Okay. I think.

I am still smiling.

Me: Hey David, can you help me check the guest list to confirm?

He giggles and blushes embarrassingly as he peruses the guest list.

David: Yes Yesmin Briggs, plus one. Your… your seat number is…

His voice fades in the background as I look ahead into the room and my eyes catches his, he is wearing a simple button down white shirt over black slacks, so simple… yet he still stands out in a room full of well dressed men. I urge myself to stop staring but I can’t as he turns to the entrance and our eyes clash. I gape some more…
